CHILDREN is a future retropop duo from Berlin, consisting of Steffi Frech and Laura Daede. The musicians share a history of a long friendship. Their latest studio album Hype was recently released on Herbert Grönemeyer's Grönland Records. The band performs for the first time at Kantine am Berghain.

The band, which had also released an album on Fleet Union, creates vivid soundscapes – with oscillating synth harmonies, catchy pop melodies and melodic basslines. CHILDREN's sound is reminiscent of the Balearic pop of the 1980s, which the band reinterprets through a very personal and individual approach.

The futurepop artist Mulay will also perform at Kantine am Berghain. The singer-songwriter, who lives in Berlin, combines elements of neo-soul, trip-hop and R&B in her music. Her musical idols are FKA Twigs, Lauryn Hill and Alicia Keys. Grammy Award winner Che Pope discovered the 25-year-old on Instagram and invited her to a studio session in Los Angeles – she has also collaborated with Moglii and Tender Games. Mulay is a singer who creates spherical sounds with the warm sound of her voice. Her last single Indiigo was released on Humming Records.
