Laundrette

For this edition of Laundrette, the three hosts David, Partok and Roi are once again setting the spin cycle to the max. Amaliah is a DJ/producer who through her energetic sets has established herself as a permanent fixture in her base of London. Her music combines upbeat house, rhythmic techno and bass-heavy elements – always rooted in sound system culture and influenced by her many years of rave experience. With her own label Borne Fruits and a bi-weekly show on Rinse FM, she promotes new talent and progressive club music. Saoirse is a DJ, producer, label head of trUst and founder of the queer Body Movements Festival. Her career has been driven by a stylistic versatility, DIY spirit and motivation to create inclusive spaces through music. Tai Lokun is one of the younger, up-and-coming DJs in the UK. She hosts a radio show every Thursday on Rinse FM, and her musical sweet spot lies between classic house, percussive drums, breaks and groovy techno.
