For the forth installment of "raster. debut", German record label and artistic platform raster presents two new live shows by Max Planck Institute fellow Victoria Keddie and long-term label associate Grischa Lichtenberger. In Keddie's live arrangement, an analog synthesizer and a neural machine interact through processes of similarity and difference, merging electronic waveforms and granular manipulations of voice. Lichtenberger's presentation of his upcoming album Ostranenie on the other hand is a collection of digitally manipulated, impressionistic piano miniatures that shift seamlessly between an uncanny black MIDI dismantling of traditional piano virtuosity and moments of raw, fragile intimacy.
