British producer Matt Cutler, known as Lone – active since the early 00s and having launched his career in 2008 with the hip-hop-inspired debut Lemurian – will present a live set pulling from his new album Hyperphantasia (Greco-Roman) at Säule for this edition of Klubnacht. His first LP in five years brings together the cornerstones of his catalog – from ambient to rave classicism to house – into a maximalist, synaesthetic showcase. Alongside references to hardcore and jungle, the album breaks away from his previous sample-based aesthetic through collaborations with acts like Ell Murphy and Bikôkô, expanding into synthetic future pop. Berghain welcomes back Decoder, who made an impressive debut last December. His current EP “Alchemy,” released on T3R, builds an earthy-sounding temple from minimalist elements, generating a powerful and steady drive. Australian DJ Zjoso makes his Panorama Bar debut. The Melbourne-based founder of the Tribqu platform shifts musically from street soul to 90s deep house, dub reggae and UK garage.
