Klubnacht

Irakli Danelia aka Yanamaste is one of the most distinctive voices in the Georgian techno scene. Growing up in Batumi, his early experiences with piano, guitar and drums as well as influences from classical, hip-hop and electronic music left their mark on him. At the age of 14, he discovered techno and began producing two years later. After dropping out of his fashion design studies in Kiev, he devoted himself entirely to music. He became a resident at Tbilisi club KHIDI in 2017, released his debut EP Cirk in 2018 and most recently the Evil EP on SHDW's Mutual Rytm. In terms of sound, Yanamaste maneuvers between deep, structured rhythms, funky drum patterns, thunderous effects and alienated sound textures. For this edition of Klubnacht, he will be making his Berghain live debut. Marco D'Aquino aka Dukwa is an Italian DJ/producer from Florence. Touching on techno, house and experimental music, he has been developing his own atmospheric, groovy style since 2008. Following releases on Gudu, Diynamic and Shall Not Fade, his album Zeitgeist arrived last month via slacker85, Seth Troxler's label. After performing live at a Numbers night at Panorama Bar in 2017, he will now play his first DJ set with us.
