Klubnacht

Netherlands-born, London-based Ruby Savage started her musical career at Honest Jon's Records on Portobello Road after completing her master's degree in photography and urban culture. She was manager at record labels such as Brownswood Recordings, threw parties, makes videos, hosts her own radio show on NTS and founded Don't Be A Creep, an initiative against harassment in the music and club world. Let's not forget, she also puts out excellent records from post-punk disco to jazz, funk, dub and house – which can be heard at Klubnacht tonight at Panorama Bar. Probably less organic and more dystopian and machine-like will be the live set of Terence Fixmer at Berghain, who, after last year's science fiction-inspired album on Mute, is releasing the State Of Disorder EP on his own label in June: hypnotic, EBM-influenced techno.
