Juan Atkins has called Skopje “the leading hub for Detroit techno on the Balkan Peninsula”. And one person who may bear partial responsibility for spreading the Motor City sound there is Stojche Cvetje, born in the Macedonian capital and now living in Berlin. As a DJ with over 20 years of experience, producer and label owner of Tangible Assets, he has completely devoted himself to the emotional heritage of the classic techno sound, as can be heard on his high-tech-soul releases on labels like a.r.t.less. Stojche is making his Berghain debut for this edition of Klubnacht alongside DJs such as Don Williams, Freddy K and Lolsnake. At Panorama Bar, expect a jolt of Italo disco and EBM in the form of a set by Soft Crash, the joint project of Hayden Payne aka Phase Fatale and Pablo Bozzi.
