Since 2008, Bill Kouligas has been running PAN, one of the most exciting, innovative labels for electronic music, according to the general consensus. With a total of more than 140 releases, he has continuously shown an excellent sense of recognising talent (music as well as visual); he put out the debut records by many acts, building them up before they went on to gain international fame. Tonight's party at Berghain and Panorama Bar celebrates the label's 15th anniversary, paying tribute to the label's exceptional status with an equally exceptional lineup from the roster and beyond. Yves Tumor released his first album on PAN in 2017, then still a producer of predominantly psychedelic soundscapes and experimental noise, and has since become an art-rock cult figure whose latest album on Warp, Praise a Lord Who Chews but Which Does Not Consume; (Or Simply, Hot Between Worlds), has been acclaimed by fans and press alike. Tumor plays at Panorama Bar, joined by the likes of Object and Kouligas himself. Berlin-based Finnish duo Amnesia Scanner perform their soundtrack to a post-human dystopia at Berghain, joined by eight-time Grammy-winner Skrillex, playing here for the first time.
