Klubnacht

Verraco, DJ/producer from Medellín, Colombia, is known for his fusion of Latin American tribal techno, hyper-electronica and modern perreo bass. He co-runs TraTraTrax and Insurgentes, both significant platforms for Latinx producers. “Escándaloo” – the title frack from his first EP for Blawan and Pariah's label, Voam – was a festival rave hit last summer with its rambunctious kicks and escalating sirens. He'll be playing at this edition of Klubnacht along with the likes of Isabel Soto from Venezuela: Over the past couple of years, the Montreal-based DJ and founder of NYXII Records and member of the Arder collective has released her first tracks on labels such as Soma and Second State. Wallace, who lives in the tranquil medieval town of Shrewsbury in the West Midlands, has organized long club nights in Edinburgh and is now fully focused on furthering his skills as a DJ and producer. Wallace's debut album Red, Yellow, Black was released last year on Mule Musiq, merging nature sounds and field recordings with an emotionally charged house sound.
