Klubnacht

It's no overstatement to call him the voice of house music, instantly recognizable to anyone who's ever been remotely near a dancefloor: Robert Owens. His Chicago house-torch songs “Bring Down The Walls” and “Can You Feel It”, recorded with Larry Heard in the second half of the 80s, and “I'll Be Your Friend”, which he wrote with Satoshi Tomiie in 1991, made him a legend. Since then, Owens has lent his charismatic voice to countless records by acts such as Masters At Work, Photek and, most recently, Luke Slater and his project LB Dub Corp. Robert Owens will be playing at Panorama Bar for this edition of Klubnacht, and Slater will be playing live in the Säule with his house project. Berghain debut for Grace Dahl, DJ/producer and label owner (Serial Disc Touchers) with Finnish-Hungarian roots. As resident DJ of Vault Sessions, she's known for her versatile techno sets, propulsive grooves and powerful kick drums. Also playing here for the first time is Mandel, who has his own radio show called House of Highlife on Refuge Worldwide.
