DJ Gabrielle Kwarteng's enthralling style of mixing combines NY house, techno, disco and percussive elements to create a dynamic atmosphere on the dancefloor. Born in Brooklyn to Ghanaian parents and raised in the Bronx, she was surrounded by Afrobeat and disco growing up. While studying humanities at a university in the state of New York, she made her foray as a host on college radio. In 2017, Kwarteng's show for The Lot earned her a Mixcloud Online Radio Award for “Best Eclectic Show” – starting her DJ career. Tonight she joins Roman Flügel and Ryan Elliot for the Finest Friday party at Panorama Bar.
