Kuntari’s sound is birthed in primal-core tectonics where Tesla Manaf and Rio Abror conjure horizons of wild sound, field recordings and complex drums entangling into the rhythm of ancestral blood pounding in your ears. Their path from jazz orthodoxy into this raw ceremonial form drags Indonesian heritage into a fusion of microtonal chimes and dense, earthbound textures.
