California-raised, Berlin-based Gene On Earth has a cute little cartoon character as his avatar: a friendly-looking, mustachioed gentleman with a cigarette hanging from his mouth and a short-sleeved shirt, looking like a cross between Roy Lichtenstein and the Flintstones. On his label Limousine Dream, he releases a wide range of leftfield house anthems suited to every mood in the club. Tonight, he plays at Panorama Bar alongside colleagues like Audrey Danza, Binh and Canada's Regularfantasy for Klubnacht. Also present will be Gideön, DJ and co-founder of the nightlife and gay club institutions Block9 and NYC Downlow at the Glastonbury Festival. With three records to his name on Homo-Centric, Gideön has launched a brilliant label while also making a flawless producer debut after 30 years of creating music, underscoring the LGBTQ+ roots of house music along the way.
